Gently Pass nib down on a piece of paper (to protect table surface) until grout color appears. Be patient & keep nib pressed down as Grout Aide needs to fill all of the nib pores completely. AND THIS MAY TAKE 45 SECONDS. 3) Lightly wash the surface to be coated with Grout Aide to remove grease, soap and oil. 4) For thick coat, use as is…. For a thinner coat you can dip the nib in a little clean water. 5) The nib is reversible! Rough grout might wear it down a bit. Simply remove nib, reserve and reinsert. 6) The grout takes 2 minutes to dry so if you make a mistake simple use a moist paper towel to wipe off and start over.
